Venue Rules

Listed are rules and requirements provided to us from Lake Lanier Luxury (L3), the houseboat vendor.

Please ensure you understand these rules and abide by them.

This will ensure no unnecessary additional charges for the rental of the venue are incurred and will ensure safety for all passengers. 

While on the vessel, all passengers will maintain proper behavior, courtesy and safety. 

• All people consuming any alcoholic beverages must be over the age of 21. 
• Only 6-9 oz. clear cups or small plastic wine tumblers are allowed on the boat. NO SOLO CUPS.
• If there is any sign of a passenger being sick or passing out, due to alcohol consumption, the cruise will be ended to ensure the safety of the passenger. There will be no refund.  If any cleaning is required (i.e., vomit) beyond hand cleaning, there will be a charge of $150 per place. 
• No jumping, bouncing, stomping or horseplay are allowed on the houseboat. One warning will be given. If it continues, the cruise will be ended. It is critical that the roof/top floor does not cave in. Please remember it is a houseboat on the water and not a
  permanent structure on land. 
• No stilettos or high heels unless they are wedges. All other shoes must be flats. This is for your SAFETY as well as the
  enjoyment of your guests. Heels and water do not go well together. 
• Take Dramamine and Advil one (1) hour prior, just in case. Should anyone feel nauseous, please direct them to a garbage bin; not the sinks, toilets or over the side of the boat. 
• Any food that requires extra cleaning beyond normal vacuuming, rag cleaning, or blowing off with a blower may result in an extra $300 cleaning fee.  All food is to be set up downstairs in the specified area. Icing is only allowed on the hard floors, not carpet. 
• No feminine products, paper towels, or wet wipes are to be flushed down the toilet. Please depose of these items in the
  wastebaskets provided. If the toilet is clogged, an extra $300 will be charged.
• There is NO confetti, glitter, balloons, water guns, sparklers, fireworks or open flames allowed on the houseboat. 
• There will be NO smoking on the houseboat. 
• No person is allowed in locked bedrooms or on any hatches behind the helm (square cut in the floor). The refrigerator,
  microwave, stove, and cabinets are NOT to be used as it is a liability issue.
• All trash should be placed in the trash cans upon departure. There should not be any trash on bars, counter tops, or floors. There is a $150.00 cleaning fee for any messes that require extra cleaning for example: vomiting, red wine stains, food stains, anything requiring pressure washing. 
• The cruise will start at the time it is contracted, not a minute before. All boats dock 30 minutes prior to the end of the contracted time. It takes 25-30 minutes to get everyone and everything from the event off the boat. Food has to be broken down 30 minutes prior to docking. The DJ must announce last song as the boat passes the buoys and once docked the music is shut off. Having the food and music ended at these times will help to ensure your departure off the boat on time. 
• Failure to ensure the complete disembarkation of all individuals and items from the vessel within the designated contractual timeframe will incur a charge of $150 per each subsequent 15-minute interval. Should any guests inadvertently drop or
  Intentionally throw food onto the ground, a cleaning fee of $300 will be levied. 

NOTE: Any unnecessary additional charges incurred due to attendee or their guest, will be paid by the attendee/guest the charge is tied to.
